American mahogany marble-top console with gilt stenciled floral motif, original gilt ormolu mounts, marble columns and terminating on the original turned bulbous ball and lions paw feet. Early 19th century. Console retains the original mirror and wood backing as well. Attributed to Joseph Meeks, New York.
