Description
American copper full bodied cow weathervane, A full copper body of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Maintains some original gilt surface with verdigris. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders during this Period. Weather vane was shot twice by rifle in mid section while perched on stable. Attributed to Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1870-1890.
