Monumental Period American Federal gilt wood and gesso convex mirror with a central spread winged Eagle perched to flee on rocky plinth, upper flanking scrolled acanthus foliage, interior gilt rope border with ebonized reeded ring, and lower flanking scrolled acanthus foliage with a central decorative shell pine cone pendant. Mirror retains the original silvered glass and wood backing. Early 19th Century
